Opus Max is a studio of architects, researchers, and builders. We were founded in 2019 on a single conviction — that architecture is the slow authorship of silence, and that every threshold we build should reward the attention of a lifetime.
From three studios in Zürich, Tokyo, and Lisbon, we work across scales: a stone chapel in the Rila mountains, a mixed-use tower on Bahnhofstrasse, a copper-clad block in Lisbon's Bairro Alto. The language is one: weight, light, time.
We do not chase iconography. We compose rooms that, decades from now, will still hold their owners in a quiet conversation with the hour of the day.
